On June 11, we all met together – Ready To Work (RTW) Fellows, the RTW team and BGCB staff – to launch the summer online campus and to celebrate both the hard work that got us all to this point and the hard work the Fellows are about to do this summer working on reaching for their goals.
June 11, 2020: Josh Kraft told the group how proud he is that the RTW Fellows represent BGCB out in the community and have chosen to invest in their futures this summer. Dr. Kevin Churchwell, President of Boston Children’s Hospital, shared stories from his family and life and urged the Fellows to take advantage of all opportunities. Monica Cannon-Grant from Black Lives Matter told the Fellows that while she is tired from all that is happening and from fighting institutional racism, she is staying focused and they need to stay focused and work hard as well.
